"My Son(Daughter) if you accept my Words and store up my Commands within you, turning your ear to Wisdom and applying your heart to Understanding, and if you call out for insight and cry aloud for Understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, THEN you will understand the 'fear of the Lord' and find the KNOWLEDGE OF GOD.
for the LORD gives wisdom and from HIS mouth come Knowledge and Understanding.
HE holds VICTORY for the upright, HE is a shield to those whose walk is 'blameless', for HE guards the course of the Just and PROTECTS the wy of HIS FAITHFUL ONES.
THEN you will understand what is right and just and fair..every good path. For (then) WISDOM will enter your heart, and Knowledge will be Pleasant to Your Soul...DISCRETION will protect you, and UNDERSTANDING will guard you. WISDOM will save you from the way of wicked men.
My Son/Daughter..Do NOT forget my teaching. Keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong Your life MANY YEARS, AND bring you Prosperity!"

All I can say to this..from the book of Proverbs, is WOW! If ONLY we will turn to our Lord
and Savior ..each and every day...and seek HIS counsel...HIS wisdom...HIS will for our lives.
Dying to self..is important..so important. The Lord examines our Hearts...but, we need to
ask HIM to do this.. Are our hearts right before HIM?
I asked this of HIM this morning for myself. Do we worry about needless things? Are we letting fear rule our lives? I know that I have been so guilty of this.

God wants us to lead productive, happy lives...and to have HIS JOY in our selves.
WE need always..to be led of HIS SPIRIT. NOT our emotions. Emotions can trick and deceive us. The flesh..this flesh has to be put down.

I read this morning that it is important to journal. I know that I use to do that. So, I'm trying once again. Not just getting up and saying routine prayers before my Lord...petitioning Him for all the things I have been for so long. I want my life to reflect His love. I want to quit worrying..to quit wasting time on needless things. I'm older now, and time is NOT on my side.
But, young or old, the important thing here is to realize that the LORD speaks truth..Out of HIS mouth comes Wisdom. He LONGS to guide us on the right path. He longs to bring us into HIS presence so that we might gain a heart of knowledge. He longs to be the victory of everything needed in our lives. If only..if only...we come to HIM ..bring it all ..everything..and lay it at His feet. The disciples sat at His feet..They were free from fear, worry and distress. They were a captive audience...knowing they were in the presence of the ONE who had all the answers- the ONE who knew them by name- the ONE who would save them from all their worries.
May we..may I ...come into His presence..and ask Him to examine my heart. David said,"Examine my heart Lord and see if there is any wicked way within me". He said this, because he wanted to walk with the Lord in front of him, and he wanted everything the Lord could give him..he wanted the Lord's blessings. He wanted courage and wisdom and guidance.
Don't we all need this in today's world as well?

Have a great day..knowing that the LORD knows all..and ready to give your heart and mind
wisdom and understanding..All we have to do is die to self..and seek HIS will and purpose.

"Father God, may we do this. Forgive me that sometimes..it takes so long for me to see this. This needless worry in my life. I want all you can give me. I need it Lord. We all do. Help us all today..to realize...you are here..for us now..and you will guide us on our path..if only we seek
Your name and your will..and give it all up to you. May we follow your path of wisdom and live according to your commands. In Jesus's Name. Amen"
