Who is declaring Your Glory on this earth?

I have been a long time silent, but NOW is the day and time to declare your glory!

Father in Heaven, forgive me I pray, right off the bat here, before I've written another word,

of the times that I have forgotten to give you the praise and honor that you deserve. I truly ask and seek your forgiveness.

This world offers so much to us. It really does. There is far too much time spent thinking about

our needs and what we want. What do 'YOU' want from us today Lord?

If we truly realize and recognize you, the Almighty God as our Father in Heaven, the creator of this universe- The ONE who knows all, hears all and sees all, the ONE we will all stand before on

Judgement Day..then why oh why do we not realize our every waking breath is a gift from your hand? Why do we, as Christians, waste so much profitable time on this earth. Why are not truly understanding that our days..if we live to reach a hundred and two...are very short-very short indeed. Where do we get the audacity, after we have obtained the true knowledge of just who 'you' are..to push you aside for only the times that are convenient for us.

I think we have gotten off track here.

For years, I was under the opinion that you were a harsh God..One who could shatter my very being with a lightening bolt, if you so got the notion. Then I, like others, came to understand the love you have for us all, unconditional love from our Creator? What a blessing! Oh, we have it at times for others..when we are moved by your Spirit..but, then, when our flesh takes over..we are right back with our judging and critical ways. Thank you Lord, tho', that we do have your Holy Spirit to remind us of our need to seek your forgiveness and pray for those who do not measure up to our standards!

At any rate, we went from a 'harsh-judgemental God' to one who is so full of love, compassion and forgiveness, that we have strayed far from your desires for us to be in realtionship with you!

Yes, you are loving..and gracious and merciful- you are all those things and more, but have we forgotten the scripture that says, 'fear not him that would kill the body, but FEAR the ONE who has the power to send you into Hell ..the One who kills the soul".

You have the power to do anything...anything at all! You could obliterate us at any moment! I'm sure its within your capability. Do I want to shake with fear at the mere mention of your name?

NO! I'm so glad to understand who it is I serve..and that fearing you..means being in awe of you..realizing just 'who' you are!

Why wouldn't you want a relationship with us? Most parents do their child, or should. You long for us to come in to your presence. You could wield your mighty power to bring us to that point, but you prefer not to. You want us to come out of love and forbearance. After all, we are your children and children of generations of people who have served, loved and revered your Holy Name.

The world tells us many things..shows us many things. We get caught up in shallow ways of thinking. We need to get back to our Christian heritage.

I pray Lord above, that your Spirit will again be poured out on the face of this earth.

It's Christmas time again Lord. The time that we are supposed to be celebrating the birth of your Son Jesus Christ. If that birth did not show your capacity to love like no one else, I don't know what else you could have done, but it also showed your power and majesty.

Your Son, who sits at your right hand, who will judge each of us one day...came in to this dark and dreary world - One so mighty in power and true to your nature..obedient to you Father..

seeking to and succeeding in breaking the curse of death and sickness - and the power of sin itself on your people, by dying on that cross. The perfect sacrifice- One who holds the keys to hell itself..because He triumphed over it by defeating death itself! I think we need to have a fresh view of this one called Jesus. A babe in a manger? Yep, He was that, but more - The ONE who sits at Your side and is ever interceding for us ! The one coming back one day for His beloved faithful bride! One who will reign and has forever and ever! May we understand the 'fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom'. May we truly worship YOU this Christmas season.

God, forgive us...forgive me....We get so caught up in this merriment..the giving and receiving..and in our own selfish needs and desires. We have become complacent. We don't have to be out shouting on the streets..but, we need to spend more quality time with our Saviour and isn't that a miracle in itself? That thru Jesus, your Son, you have provided us with the ability of coming directly in to your Throne Room on High?

You are awesome Father and you - Your Son Jesus and Your Holy Spirit deserve all the praise, honor and glory!!!! In Jesus's Name. Amen

John17:25-28 "...I shall show you plainly of the Father. At that day ye shall ask in my name:Ask and I say not unto you that I will pray the Father on your behalf, For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God. I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world:again, I leave the world, and go to the Father. 33: "in the world, ye shall have tribulation...but be of good cheer; I (King Jesus!) have overcome the world!!!!
