NOBODY KNOWS THE TROUBLE I'VE SEEN!

Hi ! Good Morning! It is a beautiful day in the neighborhood! The birds are singing away! All we have to do is.......'listen'

I took my granddaughter to school this morning and we talked about that. She is learning scripture. I am witnessing my repetition of scripture to her is paying off.

"This is the day the Lord has made Kaylie, let us .....and she fills in ..."rejoice and be glad in it"!

So, this morning, as I have been instructed by the Holy Spirit to do so, I grabbed her little hand and told her to repeat after me. "Thank you Lord"....and Kaylie says, "Thank you Lord".....
and so this goes..... I say....she says....

This morning the prayer, altho' it wasn't choreographed or rehearsed, flowed out of my lips and hers,
"this is the day you have made Lord. I can see by looking at the hills, the trees, the flowers, the cows in the pasture, that this is the day you have made Lord. Man did not make this. You did. You made me, my mom, my daddy, my brother, my sister, my nannie, my poppy, pops, pawpaw, my mawmaw, all my family. You made them all, my aunts, uncles, cousins, all, wherever they are. Thank you for all our family that are with you now Lord Jesus. The Bible says I am fearfully and wonderfully made. I can do all things, through you, who gives me strength.
One day, I will live with you forever dear Lord. I will be with you Father in Heaven, and with your Son Jesus Christ. I will be with all the people in this family, just like my grandma Marr, who talked to me, and all of our family, all the time about you. Thank you for the people in my life who have talked to me about you Lord. Help me today, to be the person you want me to be.
Help me to do good. Be good. To love other people like you love me.
Please let all my family know you Lord Jesus, like you have let me know you. Bless all our family and friends in Jesus's Name. Amen"

I tell you the truth - watching this young girl, nine years old, repeat in sincerity the prayer of her sixty-five year old grandma, is awesome. The faith that she has at this point in her life- that God is hearing her prayers, is wonderful. God is answering my prayers. Her Mom's as well.

No, I do not think that she centers on Christ as I do during the day, she is still a child, and of course, she hasn't grown alot spiritually. This is a wonderful start and I thank God for it!

She now has her little Bible in her room with her, and she has a prayer journal, one designed for children. She told me the other day, that she had read a page in her journal and then looked it up in her Bible.

I cannot tell you how that thrills my soul. I know that it brings joy to Kaylie's mom's face and heart as well.

My Mom was wonderful. I thank God that she made sure we went to Sunday school, quite often. She was a believer- Dad was not - until twenty something years before his death, but I praise God for His bringing my Dad into eternal life with Him. That is another long story.

I thank God that mother taught us the importance of serving the Lord. She had her own favorite scriptures. She sang hymns. I wish that Mom had introduced us to the Bible and showed us how to use it. I think she depended on the church to do that for us. Mom was deep in study in her Bible for years before her passing a little over a year ago. There is not one person in our family now, that has not witnessed our mother's love for the Lord and His Word.

As I said before, growing up, we all knew that she loved the Bible, we just were not taught the scriptures. Going to church one day out of the week, didn't do the trick! I didn't understand the Bible until I was in my thirties. Since then, I have come to find out, it is not just a history book of sorts, it is my salvation! My Peace! My Joy! God speaks to me through it. To all of us.

I have memorized so much scripture that people are sometimes astounded by it all. Come to think of it, it even astounds me!
I learned, through so much hardship, that the Bible was God's instrument to be used by men, women, children, all of us, to bring us in to that 'right' understanding of just who we serve, and His desires for our lives.

We serve the living Jesus Christ of Nazareth. We are his children.
We have all the Godhead standing with us. Imagine that!
The book of Ephesians says we are seated in the Heavenlies! This planet is NOT our home. Heaven is! If we could just 'get it'! I hope you will turn to Ephesians, chapter one, and read it.

This morning a close family member of mine, had troubles. She has had a lot here lately. I told her what my sister told me. "Take each day as a gift. Don't worry about tomorrow. Live each day of your life, like it might be your last. Worrying about tomorrow, will not bring you peace and joy. God is taking good care of you ! Enjoy your life and savor each and every day of it! Show Christ's love to others! "
My sister told me a lot about the Lord. She explained so much of the Bible to me and taught me how to pray, showing me that it wasn't a hard thing to pray. Just to be myself before the Lord. She told me of His love for me and I will be eternally grateful to her.

I also told my relative this morning that I had had many troubles in my life. A lot of them were my own doing. God had delivered me from them all.
I was also ill with hypoglocemia for over five years of my life and each day I would wake up, I felt the same, very depressed and troubled.

One day I woke up and felt like my old self again. The Lord healed me of it all. Those five years of my life were Hell on earth.

Nobody knows the troubles I've seen! No point in my going on and on about all that I have been through on this earth. So many have gone through so much more than myself.
Nobody really knows all about each of us in this world.

We know what we see with our eyes, what we hear with our ears, but we really do not know the inward struggles.

There is ONE who does. One who will bring us victory, if only we let Him do it. We have to realize this and submit to Him. He heals the sick. He heals the broken hearted.

We have to come to Him, as little children, and grab His hand and repeat after Him. His Word is there for us- only take His hand and repeat. God is good. He is precious. He wants us all to walk in victory! Hallelujah!

"Lord, how you have helped me in so many situations. Countless! You are working a work even now in me- for we are never too old. We are 'spring chickens' down here on this earth. We think we are so old, but comparing to eternity? Lord, I pray that everyone that ever reads this blog realizes that I do not have it all together. I come to you each and every day of my life, hoping that I am on the right track and KNOWING that you are strengthening me, you are helping me, you are preparing me for my eternal home and destiny. I pray that each one that comes here might know you better. Might know your Sons Jesus Christ loves them so much.

You helped me. You saved me. You forgave my sins, though as scarlet.

Lord, help each one to know your love for them. In Jesus's Precious Name, Amen".
