How much Wisdom do you have? What kind of wisdom do you want to have?
How much Wisdom does one need in this world?

I woke up this morning and decided to check out a site on the net, where so many meet. I don't go on there much- but like to once in a while to view new photos of my family and friends. It's really neat that we are able to do that- to have a place where we can meet and view photos, and share thoughts...but, and I say, BUT...
I'm kind of concerned now about the information that people are gathering about us off of these kinds of sites. It has been on the news quite alot lately.
Are you concerned with sharing your lives with total strangers? I certainly am.

I saw in one of the computer magazines that we need to be aware of this and there are
sites where we can go to check this out. One is called ReclaimPrivacy.org.

It kind of amazes me that things we share with our closest friends and relatives are now being seen by people we don't even know. Maybe some of those people do not have
the same mind set as we..and perhaps, they would try to use our information for
selfish gains?

We are not just a number- are we?

As a Christian, I am praying now for all I know that we will begin to seek God's Wisdom more and more. The Lord is our provider...our protector...our redeemer.
There is not one thing hidden from HIM or HIs Presence. He knows us backwards and
forwards...In Psalms 139 it says He knows the next word that will come out of our mouths. I think that is a good thing, because He is watching over us.

So, I've decided to once again....Seek God's wisdom! I'm praying for it! We live in a day and time when there are many predators out there...I'm not naive...I'm not paranoid...I'm being realistic. We can live in glass bubbles and float along and 'all is well'...but, perhaps, the LORD is trying to gain hold of our ears and eyes and mouths...and help us to understand the need to ask His Wisdom.
So...that's what I'm doing....Hope you will too, and of course, pay attention to the news media's alerts about this. If they are concerned, shouldn't we be?

Avoid it! Do not travel on it. Turn from it and go your way, for they cannot sleep till they do evil......
My son,(daughter) preserve sound wisdom judgement and discernment. Do not let them out of your sight! They will be life for you! an ornament to grace your neck.
Then you will go on your way in safety.
My Son, (daughter) IF you accept my words and store up my commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding, and if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, THEN you will understand...'the fear of the LORD and find the KNOWLEDGE OF GOD> For the LORD gives wisdom! He holds victory in store for the UPRIGHT ..He is a SHIELD to those whose walk is blameless!
He guards the course of the Just and PROTECTS THE WAY OF HIS FAITHFUL ONES!

I need your wisdom today- I need it each and every day. I think that we have many avenues to share our lives with those we care about- and Lord, help us to truly receive wisdom from you, even as to how to keep our everyday lives out of the hands of those who care nothing about us. Should our lives truly be an open book before
total strangers? Certainly, you know everything about us Lord...and we just need your help in deciding what we share and how we share it. We need your wisdom!
'Share sites' have been a blessing to us all in so many ways Lord...another way of getting together- we are in a 'new world'...technology is moving at an unbelievable rate, and that's great, but we all need to know how to keep our private information out of the hands of people that would take advantage of us in some way.
Just help us...help me...to understand how to tackle this problem. Protect us your people Lord. Protect the innocent children from those who might try to take advantage of them...Keep us mindful of what is truly important to you Lord. Give us your wisdom, because it says in your Word, 'if any lack wisdom, we can ask you and YOU will give it to us LIBERALLY!"...Thank you Father, in Your Son, Jesus's Name. Amen.
