my mom's little song

hi! Well, Friday rolled around again-
I was looking in another Bible I have and found the words to this song that my
mom sang alot. I know that we are living in a rushing world, and so much of
what we want to do, doesn't get accomplished when we want it to.
So- this is the Lord's day- He always gives us the time we need, doesn't He.
Sometimes our lives are interrupted for His reasons. So, here's the song, and I know it will mean much to any of my family or mom's friends and hopefully,
speak to others.
"When the Book of Life is opened, and you stand before the King,
and you know you have to give account for everything,
When you hear your name called and you know that it is time,
For you to meet your Maker as you are standing in that line,
Take the walk before your Master and hear Him say,
Well done, you haven't disappointed me.
You are welcomed in my Kingdom, as you seved my only Son,
and had to go to battle, that you conquered and you won.
The test is now over, and my child you shall see
Nothing but welcome from me.
So, the Book of Life is opened, and before your eyes you'll see,
The you have kept your promises to me."

Here's a little tidbit from Stormie Omartian from the book titled
"The Power of Praying Through the Bible"

"A Stream of Refreshing"
You are a garden fountain, a well of flowing water streaming down from Lebanon"
Song of Songs 4:15

Lord, fill me afresh with Your Spirit today and overflow me with Your healing
stream so that when I am with anyone else, they will sense Your Presence. Make
me to be like a well of refreshing water flowing out to others. I know You see me through Your Son, Jesus. I pray others will see Jesus in me, even if they don't
fully understand what it is they are seeing.

I believe that prayer above is kind of like Mom's song. Mother always cared so much about so many- She called people all the time to see how they were doing.
She listened to so many and then offered advice.
I know that God uses us in so many ways and I just hope that somehow, people
can see beyond my frustrations at times, and know that I do care.
So have a great day, trusting in the ONE who has all the answers and works for the
good of those who love Him and even the Ones who don't. God answers our prayers for our love ones.
