and HE SHALL DIRECT YOUR PATHS'

GOD WILL ALWAYS DIRECT OUR PATHS IF WE ONLY ASK AND THEN
DO THE HARDEST PART - T R U S T

I'm needing help in that area of MY life today because I am going to have
a colonoscopy and believe me, if I could put this off one more time- I would!
I asked the LORD to heal my body - I asked HIM to send me to a good doctor-
I asked the Lord to give me strength and peace and give this doctor much
wisdom
so now- the hardest part - trust

i forgot to ask HIM to help me choke all this nasty stuff down they have you
drink before this proceedure!!! yuk
Obedience and Trust - i think they go hand in hand

i've had horses- had them until I married -
funny thing- you most always, no matter how good the horse, have to use a
bit and bridle- for they want to go where they want to go- especially, the
feed bucket! they have a mind of their own and sometimes, it is not the best
thing!! lol
so, I'm reminded of a scripture from Psalms 32 this a.m.
"I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will counsel you and watch over you
don't be like the horse or mule, which have no understanding,
but must be controlled by bit and bridle"

maybe we need- I need - to picture myself as the horse- GOD THE RIDER
HE KNOWS WHERE I SHOULD GO- WHAT I SHOULD DO-
HE KNOWS ALL - HIS WAYS AND THOUGHTS ARE SO MUCH HIGHER
THAN MINE- HE CAN SEE THE ROAD AHEAD AND THE DANGERS LURKING
AND HE CAN STEER ME CLEAR OF ALL ADVERSITIES- IF ONLY I 'LET' HIM!!!
