Want to share some scriptures with you today:

"Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin- you who are spiritual should restore him gently.
But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted. Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
If anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.
Each one should test his own actions.
Then, he can take pride in himself, without comparing himself to somebody else, for each one should carry his own load."

To me, this is saying that each of is responsible before God.

I was watching an NFL player give his testimony this evening on television, and he
was talking about the ways in which the LORD had blessed his life.
He had gone through some difficult things in his life, injuries and other situations, but he was praising God for bringing him through it all.
He said that his Mom and Dad were instrumental in teaching him so much about
having faith in the Lord above, and walking in that faith. His mother always told him, "to whom much is given, much is required." He said that he was so grateful for the relationship he had with the Lord, and that he realized God was using him
to bring others to Christ. So, when difficult situations arose, he knew that God
wanted him to pray, ask for God's help, and then act accordingly. This man was
all smiles- so happy- he said God had blessed him so much.

I think, as believers, we sometimes hear the above scripture and think, "why me?"
For a minute or two, we are thinking- "Why is so much required of me?
Why can't the other person say "I'm sorry?" Why can't the other person see
they were wrong ? I'm not ready to forgive!"

I know many times in my life I have had to deal with forgiveness, when I really
didn't want to. I'm so glad that my mother taught me that forgiveness was truly
not only necessary, but healing. I believe that each time we submit to our Lord
in this area of our lives, that God hears and He then moves quickly in our behalf.
No, it is not just a process- words spoken- blessings coming our way. It lets us view the situation through the eyes of our Lord. Maybe even when we pray about it, we can get a clearer picture- maybe even of ourselves in the circumstance.
Submission to the Lord- This is what brings us closer to Christ, for it brings the
heart of Jesus into our hearts. His love in us- desiring to flow out to others.
We than realize that the Lord is in control, and that He desires something 'more' of us. Yielding our will to God's in this, giving the Lord our hurt and disappointment will turn the tide for us. I believe this, because I believe that
God is constantly at work with not only us, but those in relationships with us.

Galatians 6- goes on to say:
"Do not be deceived. God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.
The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction. The one who sows to please the Spirit- will reap eternal life.
SO- let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap
a harvest if we do not give up!- Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good
to all people, especially, to those who belong to the family of believers".

"Dear Lord,
You are not asking us to become door mats that others trudge over. You are asking us to keep our faith in You. You are asking us to do things Your way.
Pray- believe- trust. Pray-believe-trust. We can forgive others. We can forgive
ourselves. We can live a victorious life because you will always turn what the
enemy meant for bad in our lives for our good. Forgiveness is so important .
The devil sometimes hits us where it hurts, but we can put up our shields.
Not shields of indifference, or foolish pride, but shields of faith. We must realize
the devil sometimes comes to us thru the people we love the most.
Forgiveness will not only set us free, it will pull down every prideful thought.
It will shatter every evil desire for retaliation. Lord, help us to see that as we
forgive, we too, shall be forgiven. As we sow goodness, kindness, gentleness and
forgiveness- so shall we receive the same.
Your Word never fails Lord. It might not happen instantly- but, at least we will
know by acting in the way you would have us- we will eventually see the fruit of
this action. Thank you Lord that you have taught us well and we can, with your
help, apply these truths. We are Your children. You want the best for us, and you will always work for our good in the thing Lord and for Your Glory.
In order for people to come to you, they have to see you in us. We surely need your help in this Lord. Thank You. In Jesus's Name. Amen.

"Cast all your care on the Lord for He cares for you".
"Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me."
"He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show
myself to him".
thank you Lord.
